Position: Laboratory Associate / Technician
Location: Sparks MD
Duration: 12 Months
Work days/hours: Tuesday- Friday/ 10hrs a day
Work hours; flexible start time 7-8 am
Onsite daily

Job Description:
The Associate is responsible for applying basic scientific principles to routine laboratory work and for gaining experience in the application and interpretation of the department procedures. Will work as member of ID/AST Quality Control team to perform benchtop testing of primarily Phoenix system disposables including panels broths and indicators. Other testing may involve Crystal MicroCount and/or RMT product lines. Other lab duties as assigned including management of product retentions streaking of microbial culture plates used in daily testing and pH testing.
Education
Bachelors Degree in Biology Microbiology or other related field.
Experience
Required:
no experience required with Bachelors degree.
Preferred:
One to two years related experience. For many roles at this client assignment is contingent upon the Employer of Records receipt of sufficient proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (meaning two weeks have passed after the last injection of Pfizer/Moderna or two weeks after receipt of the J&J). In some locations weekly testing for COVID-19 may be available instead of vaccination. Requests for accommodation will be considered pursuant to applicable law.
