Schedule:
Mon Tues Wed Fri 8-hour varying shifts between 7:00am-5:00pm
Tues Thur 8-hour rotating shifts for nursing home draws between 6:00am-3:30pm
Every 4th Saturday 8:00am-3:00pm
Rotating holidays 8:00am-2:00pm
Duties include:
Performing phlebotomy and blood collection services to patients of all ages
Preparing samples for pickup
Charting blood draws
Maintain appropriate supplies inventory

Laboratory Assistant No certification or previous experience required ($17.00-25.50)
Senior Laboratory Assistant Requires active phlebotomy certification ($18.00-26.50)
Pathology Technician Bachelors degree required in biology or related subject ($23.50-36.00)

Responsibilities include phlebotomy collecting preparing and processing specimens biological specimens.

Job Description

Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.



Completion of a formal phlebotomy program phlebotomy experience and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
