Were seeking a motivated Laboratory Analyst to join our lubricants testing laboratory team in Coppell TX.

In this role youll perform analytical testing on a broad range of lubricant and petroleum-based products supporting customers across the automotive industrial manufacturing transportation and energy sectors. You will operate and maintain advanced laboratory instrumentation ensure accurate data reporting within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and contribute to a high-throughput laboratory environment where quality precision and turnaround time are critical.



What Youll Do

  • Perform sample preparation and analytical testing on lubricants oils greases coolants hydraulic fluids and petroleum products in accordance with ASTM ISO API and internal SOPs
  • Conduct routine lubricant and oil analysis including viscosity wear metals TAN/TBN oxidation water content flash point particle contamination and density testing
  • Operate calibrate troubleshoot and maintain laboratory instruments and analytical equipment
  • Evaluate results for accuracy trends and out-of-specification conditions escalating issues as needed
  • Accurately record review and validate data in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
  • Support oil condition monitoring and predictive maintenance programs through accurate laboratory testing
  • Safely handle hazardous flammable and pressurized materials in a laboratory environment
  • Assist with laboratory housekeeping sample custody inventory management and cross-training across test methods
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

What Youll Bring

  • Bachelors Degree in Science or related area; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Previous hands-on analytical laboratory experience utilizing instrumentation strongly preferred ideally within petroleum fuels lubricants energy or oil & gas testing environments
  • Familiarity with ASTM/API test methods and petroleum quality standards is a plus
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook) and general computer applications
  • Experience with LIMS systems preferred

Work Schedule
