Labor Utility

A Day in the Life:

Labor/Utility is responsible for performing general laborer duties to maintain a clean plant area. Additionally this role is responsible for demonstrating a commitment to supply safe food maintain a food safety culture within the site continually improve the sites food safety management system and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.

Position Details:

Rotating shift: 7a-7p 7p-7a with overtime call-out availability weekends/holidays and rotating shift availability required

Rate of pay: $24.30 per hour

What Youll Be Doing:

• Shovel and sweep product to maintain clean plant area
• Operate hand tools forklift bobcat backhoe and other mobile equipment
• Climb steps/ladders work in high places and confined spaces
• Work outdoors and in all types of weather
• Work safely and communicate effectively
• Must be willing to train to advance into different job classifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic dependability and a high level of dedication to safety
• Ability to work primarily in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Prior experience in a plant or similar environment
