A highly respected AmLaw firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate to join its nationally recognized Labor & Employment Practice Group in either Tampa Orlando or Jacksonville.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated employment litigation and counseling matters within a collaborative national platform handling complex and high-profile labor and employment disputes.

Associates in this position may work on matters involving:

• Temporary restraining orders and injunction proceedings
• Trade secret misappropriation and noncompete litigation
• Wage & hour class and collective actions
• Union negotiations and traditional labor matters
• OSHA and workplace safety matters
• Employment counseling and compliance advice
• Single-plaintiff employment litigation

Attorneys will also have the opportunity to participate in discovery motion practice settlement negotiations and trial preparation in both state and federal courts.

• 34 years of labor & employment experience
• Strong legal writing and analytical skills
• Experience handling sophisticated employment litigation matters
• Experience with discovery motion practice and drafting pleadings and motions
• Trial preparation experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
• Demonstrated client relationship and business development skills are a plus
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• Active bar admission in good standing required

Compensation: $260000$310000 DOE
