Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will support labor delivery and postpartum care while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients and newborns
- Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor and delivery
- Assist physicians and midwives during deliveries and procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
- Educate patients and families on labor delivery and postpartum care
- Float within scope as needed to support facility requirements
Requirements:
- Active RN license (must be in hand; pending licenses not accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of L&D nursing experience
- First-time travelers accepted
- Required Certifications: ACLS BLS NRP AWHONN Intermediate
- Strong clinical and communication skills
Schedule & Work Conditions:
- Weekend shifts required
- No on-call requirement
- Block scheduling not available
- Guaranteed 60 hours per 2 weeks (subject to facility call-off policy)

- Acute Care Medical Center / Long-Term Care / Outpatient setting
- Level IV Trauma Critical Access Hospital
- 46 Acute Care beds 22 LTC beds
- Charting system: Epic
- Free parking available
- Scrub color: Any or business casual
Traveler Requirements:
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)
- Must be flexible to float within scope
Housing & Transportation:
- Housing and transportation provided during assignment
- Typically 1-bedroom accommodation (traveler-only occupancy; pets not allowed)
- Housing available within defined move-in and move-out windows
- Rental vehicle provided for local use (within 30-mile radius)
- Valid drivers license and insurance required
- Traveler responsible for vehicle care fuel and adherence to usage guidelines
