Position : Lab Technician

Client: Medical Device Company

Level Of Experience: Entry Level or Mid-Level

Employment Type: Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens Or GC Holders Only)

3 Must haves on the resume:

1) Associates degree or higher in STEM field (chemistry materials science biomedical engineering preferred)

2) Some experience with lab setting and instruments (Example: HPLC UV/VIS ICP DMA DSC TGA)

3) Ability to write technical reports

Job Description:

Roles:

• Provide solid technical skill analytical testing and engineering support for design and development activities for various medical device products.
• Support current products in roles of quality research & development pilot-scale manufacturing supply continuity and cost improvement.
• Execute technical and cross-functional project work
• Understand customer needs through literature review competitive analysis prototype evaluation and clinical / simulated use studies.
• Support engineering of robust and manufacturable products through strong understanding and application of engineering fundamentals.

Must haves:

• A minimum of 1-year experience with operation of material and/or chemical analytical instrumentation which may include but not limited to: HPLC UV-VIS FTIR DSC TGA.
• Ability to write detailed technical protocols and reports that comply with company policies and with local regional and federal regulations.
• Strong technical communication skills
• Associates degree or higher in STEM (chemistry biology microbiology biotechnology biomedical engineering).
