Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (may be subject to change according to need).

Pay Rate: $18.00 - 22.00/HR

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for performing the various quality control tests required for manufactured batches. This individual will also be required to analyze customers in use samples on a regular basis as well as assist with technical service projects and troubleshooting.

Work closely with the production team as well as the technical services graduates are welcome to apply.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Quality Control

  • Analyze for viscosity density various titrations pH FTIR X-Ray and other routine measurements.

  • Ensure calibrations and verifications are current.

  • Record results accurately in electronic database.

  • Maintain a clean and professional work environment.

  • Ensure timely and accurate analysis.

  • Prepare standards and reagents as dictated by procedures as needed.

Customer Sample Analysis

  • Help plan and allocate resources for incoming customer samples.

  • Ensure timely and accurate analysis.

  • Assist in generating reports from data obtained as required.

Technical Service and R&D Support

  • Mix small scale ( 1 gallon) batches and working solutions as needed.

  • Assist with projects.

  • Help gather and package materials for off-site trials and testing as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience with common chemical terminology.

  • Experience in a laboratory setting.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Able to work independently with limited supervision and in a team setting.

  • Ability to read and follow written procedures with little to no supervision.

  • Able to adapt to sudden changes of a plan.

  • Desire to learn and acquire new skills to assist other functions with the laboratory setting.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors or associate degree in a STEM related field (Chemistry preferred but not required.A combination of work experience and education will be considered in lieu of an associate or bachelors degree).
