Compensation Considerations:

This position is responsible for Laboratory Functions that may include inventory management component transformation data entry maintenance of records and some automated testing.
Shift will be evening shift (2:45pm to 11:15pm e/o weekend and holiday rotation)

Job Description:

Vitalant is seeking a Laboratory Technician dedicated to making a positive difference. Your impact as a Laboratory Technician is vital. Support Vitalants life-saving mission by operating within the laboratory handling responsibilities that include component production labeling record reviewing and data entry.

What to Expect

Schedule: Eve 3:00 PM-11:30PM rotates e/o W/E. Shift differential for EVE and W/E applies.

Training: Days Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Base Wage: $17.29/hour - $18.08/hour (depending on experience)

As a Laboratory Technician youll get to:

  • Maintain accurate data records and documentation.
  • Prepare blood components through processes such as centrifugation separation freezing thawing washing storage sterile docking transformation and filtration.
  • Ensure product quality volume appearance and time requirements.
  • Conduct labeling for routine and special components and implement quarantine procedures.
