Position: QC Lab Technician Location: Cincinnati OH 45237 Duration: 12 Months Job Type: Temporary Assignment Work Type: Onsite Shift: Monday Friday 06:00 AM to 02:30 PM
Summary:
The QC Lab Technician is responsible for supporting routine laboratory testing activities to facilitate the release of raw materials in-process samples finished products and stability samples. This role ensures all laboratory work is performed in compliance with approved procedures Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and applicable regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining laboratory quality and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Prepare solutions for chemical and physical testing of raw materials in-process samples finished products and stability samples.
Document laboratory activities test results and observations accurately in laboratory notebooks and records.
Operate calibrate maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments including balances pH meters and analytical equipment.
Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization according to GMP standards.
Assist with inventory management of laboratory supplies chemicals reagents and standards.
Follow all company safety procedures environmental requirements and quality policies.
Support internal audits external inspections and regulatory compliance activities as needed.
Perform all duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and safety guidelines.
Required Skills:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Chemistry Biology Microbiology Biochemistry or a related scientific discipline.
0 1 year of laboratory experience preferred.
Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Excellent organizational communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong motivation for continuous learning and professional growth.
Ability to stand for extended periods during laboratory work.
Ability to lift and carry laboratory supplies up to 25 lbs.
Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
