Lab Technician (2nd Shift)

Were searching for a motivated Laboratory Technician to support our environmental laboratory team in Reading PA.

In this role youll be actively engaged in daily laboratory operations supporting critical testing through sample preparation analytical testing and accurate documentation within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Youll work hands-on with laboratory instrumentation contribute to quality and compliance initiatives and help maintain a safe efficient and well-organized laboratory environment.

What Youll Do

• Perform sample preparation and analytical testing in accordance with approved methods SOPs and quality standards
• Operate calibrate troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on laboratory instrumentation to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Perform data entry documentation and review of test results within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and other designated systems
• Support laboratory quality system by following Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) assisting with audits corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
• Adhere to safety and compliance protocols to maintain a safe and efficient laboratory environment
• Assist with general laboratory housekeeping inventory management and cross-training as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

What Were Looking For

• Bachelors Degree in Chemistry Environmental Science or related scientific area
• Demonstrated professional hands-on analytical laboratory experience preferably in environmental testing
• Previous experience with inorganic/wet chemistry testing including BOD/CBOD titrations and reagent prep preferred
• Familiarity with analytical instrumentation including IC FIA SFA and spectrophotometry preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required; Experience with LIMS is a plus

Work Schedule & Travel

• Full-time onsite position
• MondayFriday schedule beginning on 1st shift (6:30 AM.2:30 PM) for the first 90 days prior to transitioning to 2nd shift (2:00 PM 10:30 PM)
• Flexibility to work beyond standard hours as operational needs require
