Work Schedule: No more than 20 hours per week M-F between 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Some evening and weekend hours.

Job Description:

SUMMARY

Responsible for helping with daily activities in the Fab Lab and 3D printing labs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provides technical support for lab equipment.
  
• Monitors and assists visitors in lab.
  
• Works on projects for external and internal customers.
  
• Receives and stores supplies.
  
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING

• High school diploma or GED
  
• Ability to work in a team environment.
  
• Ability to work with student populations from a variety of ages and backgrounds.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE/TRAINING

• Enrollment in an engineering engineering technology STEM or creative arts program at an accredited college or university.

• The work is performed in a normal professional office environment.
  
• The work area is adequately lit heated and ventilated.
  
• Typically the employee may sit comfortably to perform the duties of the job and will perform repetitive motions with hands/fingers using a computer mouse and keyboard to type. However there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items such as papers files pamphlets books etc.
  
• Work may also require walking and standing in conjunction with travel to and attendance at meetings and conferences away from the worksite.
  

This is aPart-Time Non-Bargaining Unit Position with the following Set Rate of Pay: $15.60/hour.
