Lab QA Regulatory Specialist Team Leader

Job Summary:
The Lab QA Regulatory Specialist Team Leader ensures that Deaconess Clinic Labs are compliant with CAP COLA and CLIA regulations. This role provides oversight for laboratory accreditation quality assurance and non-laboratory based POC testing. Additionally the coordinator manages the laboratory QA program offers continuing education for staff and orients new employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with CAP COLA and CLIA regulations.

• Oversee COLA accreditation for Deaconess Clinic Lab-West Gateway Reo and Downtown.

• Supervise non-laboratory POC testing.

• Manage the laboratory QA program including data gathering analysis and meetings.

• Provide continuing education opportunities for staff.

• Orient new employees as needed.

Qualifications:

• Associates degree or equivalent required; Bachelors degree preferred.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
