Job Summary
Job Description
The Lab Manager will manage and ensure operational readiness of a semiconductor laboratory. They will also collaborate with dynamic graduate & undergraduate students postdocs and experienced faculty from Engineering and Physics with strong academic and industry backgrounds and have the opportunity to contribute to research innovations patent disclosures and related technology development activities.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Materials Science Physics Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field (Ph.D. is a plus). Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in operating maintaining or troubleshooting high-vacuum equipment such as CVD PVD or related thin-film deposition systems. Prior experience in a semiconductor fabrication or cleanroom environment. Familiarity with vacuum science thin-film growth techniques and semiconductor device processing. Demonstrated ability to train and supervise students researchers or technical staff on synthesis processing and characterization equipment. Strong commitment to laboratory safety and adherence to compliance standards.
