Lab Manager #26-19975

Job Details:

• Provides general laboratory support to the DSTS chemistry laboratories.

Responsibilities include:

• Performs periodic cleaning and basic maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Performs general laboratory support functions such as cleaning glassware autoclaving laboratory supplies and laboratory housekeeping.
• Prepares various chemical solutions and media.
• Maintains stocks of laboratory reagents and supplies.
• Coordinates disposal of glass biohazard chemical and radiochemical laboratory waste.
• Records data and performs basic mathematical computations.
• Reviews temperature monitoring charts.
• May assist with special projects as assigned.
• Follows all applicable SOPs and procedures.

Skills:

• Ability to lift carry push or pull objects weighing up to 25 lbs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree OR Masters degree and 2 years of experience OR Bachelors degree and 4 years of experience OR Associates degree and 8 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 10 years of experience
