Key Responsibilities

Equipment Reliability & Maintenance

• Maintain POLAB systems automated sampling systems XRF XRD and laboratory testing equipment.

• Perform preventive predictive and corrective maintenance activities.

• Diagnose equipment failures perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and spare parts inventories.

• Track downtime maintenance history and reliability metrics.

• Provide after-hours on-call support to troubleshoot and repair critical laboratory and automation equipment ensuring minimal downtime for continuous QA/QC operations.

Mechanical Systems Support

• Perform precision measurements using calipers micrometers gauge blocks and related tools.

• Interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.

• Disassemble repair modify and reassemble laboratory equipment.

• Coordinate fabrication of obsolete or discontinued parts through machine shops.

• Safely utilize hand tools power tools and maintenance shop equipment.

Electrical & Controls Support

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

• Utilize digital multimeters and test equipment to diagnose electrical issues.

• Troubleshoot printed circuit boards and electronic components.

• Support automation systems and laboratory control equipment.

• Coordinate with electrical maintenance personnel for plant-level repairs.
