Job Summary
We are seeking Lab Associate- Hematology to join IQVIA Laboratories at Valencia CA.
Job Summary:
What Youll Be Doing:
- Perform routine analysis of specimens and document results in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines
- Evaluate analytical results against laboratory system algorithms and identify discrepancies
- Escalate unusual findings performance issues or potential errors to senior laboratory personnel
- Prepare buffers solutions and materials required for laboratory testing
- Store samples and reagents appropriately following analysis activities
- Assist with laboratory procedure development documentation updates and continuous improvement efforts
- Support laboratory housekeeping safety quality and 6S initiatives
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and notify staff of supply shortages
What We Are Looking For:
- High School Diploma or equivalent OR Bachelors Degree (some CAP/CLIA laboratory locations may require a BS in Chemistry Biology or Medical Laboratory Technology) 6 months relevant lab experience
- Basic knowledge of laboratory principles
- Basic knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and applicable regulatory agency standards
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment instrumentation and terminology used within the area of responsibility
- Knowledge of laboratory safety infection control procedures standard precautions and hazardous chemical handling
- Applicable certifications and licenses as required by country state and/or other regulatory bodies
- Other equivalent combination of education training and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

- Basic computer skills and attention to detail when documenting analytical results

The potential base pay range for this role when annualized is $35900.00 - $74800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge skills education and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered incentive plans bonuses and/or other forms of compensation may be offered in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.Required Experience:
