L2 Production Support Specialist with AWS

This position is located in Dallas Texas in a hybrid environment.

CGI is seeking an experienced L2 Production Support Specialist with AWS to support and enhance cloud operations across a complex multi-cloud environment. This role is responsible for designing implementing and supporting highly available scalable and secure cloud infrastructure while ensuring compliance with enterprise cloud governance standards. This position will require different levels of experience as well as multiple shift requirements (day night weekends holidays on-call etc.).

The ideal candidate will partner with development infrastructure and security teams to automate operational processes implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) improve observability and strengthen platform reliability. Responsibilities include monitoring production environments developing governance dashboards and compliance reporting automating preventative and corrective controls supporting incident response and driving continuous operational improvements across AWS and other cloud platforms.

2 years of strong hands-on experience supporting production environments in AWS.
Solid understanding of AWS services including EC2 VPC IAM S3 Route 53 CloudWatch CloudTrail ELB EBS SQS AMIs and AWS CLI.
o AWS certification is required for senior positions.
Experience implementing cloud governance frameworks security controls and compliance monitoring.
Ability to build automated dashboards operational reports and compliance metrics.
Strong scripting skills using Python PowerShell or Bash to automate operational tasks.
Experience with production support incident management root cause analysis and on-call support.
Familiarity with monitoring and observability platforms such as CloudWatch Splunk Dynatrace OpenTelemetry or similar tools.
Experience with AutoSys RedHood Apache Airflow or other job management is preferred.

Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems Information Technology or a related technical discipline preferred.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $46400 to 110100.
