Position Title:Student Success Coordinator and Writing Tutor part-time

Department:Advising Center

Salary Level: Contacted Professional compensated using the following pay scale based on the highest level of earned credential:

• $22.00/hour for Bachelors Degree
• $25.00/hour for Masters Degree or higher

Length of Time:Academic Year Contract

Responsibilities:

• Co-Management of student support services tracking usage and feedback on student support
• Co-Supervision of professional and peer tutors
• Monitor and provide written feedback of the virtual writing submission process
• Provide one-on-one writing tutoring virtually via Zoom or in-person on campus for students across disciplines
• Assist with writing assignments at any stage of the process specifically with brainstorming drafting revising structure feedback grammar/mechanics and citation (APA or MLA).
• Develop and deliver in-class presentations on academic support topics.
• Track and document student progress and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with faculty to understand course content and expectations.
• Participate in professional development and training sessions.
• Create and maintain a supportive and positive learning environment.
• Participate in planning arranging and providing student success skills and/or TEAS workshops.
