About the Role
A logistics company in Joliet IL is hiring a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead daily warehouse operations inventory accuracy and staff management. This role oversees inbound and outbound shipments WMS-based tracking team supervision and warehouse safety and efficiency.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Ensure accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Implement proper storage and labeling systems to minimize loss or misplacement.
- Plan and coordinate daily warehouse activities (receiving picking repacking shipping).
- Monitor productivity and set performance targets.
- Use a warehouse management system (WMS) to track orders and inventory.
- Recruit train and supervise warehouse staff.
- Create work schedules and assign tasks.
- Monitor employee performance and enforce company policies.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe warehouse environment.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of forklifts and other equipment.
- Prepare reports on inventory accuracy productivity and costs.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of warehouse management experience in a supervisory role.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean required.
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel Outlook etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a related field.
