Job Summary

About the Role

Title: HR Senior Generalist. Location: Fort Lee NJ. Reports to: HR Director. Job Type: Exempt Full Time. Department: Human Resources.

The Senior HR Generalist will support Our Clients human resources functions with a strong focus on talent acquisition and recruitment. This role will lead recruiting efforts and also support employee relations compliance onboarding and HR administration.



Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment including sourcing interviewing hiring onboarding and retention support (approximately 50% of the role).
  • Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to identify staffing needs and develop recruiting strategies across multiple departments and operational teams.
  • Develop an understanding of departmental operations and hiring priorities to identify and attract qualified candidates.
  • Manage multiple recruiting priorities and ensure positions are filled within established hiring timelines.
  • Support recruitment across operations supply chain corporate retail and support functions.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for corporate and field positions.
  • Develop and implement recruiting initiatives to attract talent.
  • Manage relationships with external recruiting agencies job boards colleges and community partners.
  • Coordinate and participate in job fairs hiring events and recruiting campaigns.
  • Track recruiting metrics and provide hiring updates and reports to leadership.
  • Assist with onboarding new hire orientation and employee integration.
  • Serve as a resource for employees and managers on company policies workplace concerns and HR-related inquiries.
  • Promote positive employee relations communication engagement and workplace safety.
  • Support employee disciplinary actions investigations and documentation as needed.
  • Maintain employee records and update HRIS (G-HR) system.
  • Support the performance review process and assist with HR reporting audits and administrative tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal state and local employment laws and regulations with focus on New Jersey and New York requirements.
  • Support HR policy implementation and maintain HR documentation and records.
  • Assist employees with basic benefits inquiries and enrollment support.
  • Support annual open enrollment and employee benefit communications.
  • Coordinate with benefit vendors and HR team regarding employee benefit administration.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience including significant recruitment and talent acquisition responsibilities.
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment onboarding and employee integration processes (required).
  • Strong experience recruiting for a wide range of positions across various functions (required).
  • Previous experience with HRIS systems (required). Experience with ADP Workforce Now (preferred).
  • Franchise Food & Beverage or multi-location industry experience (preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of federal state and local employment laws and regulations including wage and hour discrimination harassment and leave laws particularly in New Jersey and New York.
  • Basic knowledge of Leave of Absence (LOA) FMLA Workers Compensation administration and HR operations.
  • Strong communication organizational multitasking and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be proficient in English; Korean or Spanish language proficiency (preferred).

Compensation

$70000.00 to $90000.00 Annually
