This position will be based at the BorgWarner Arden facility in Western North Carolina and will transition to a new facility in Hendersonville NC.

Pay & Benefits

All positions start at an above market pay rate for that position. Benefits are also above market and include the following for all full-time employees:

The hourly pay range for this position is $19.96 - $23.28.

This position will pack kits for production or shipping and prepare items for stocking assembly or shipping.

Key Responsibilities

Kitting:

• Assemble sets of parts based on work orders
• Accurately match SKUs
• Pack kits for production or shipping
• Perform light assembly work as needed

Decanting:

• Open cartons and remove bulk products
• Sort items into bins or totes
• Scan items into inventory systems
• Prepare items for put away or picking
• Keep work area in orderly condition with respect to proper materials tools equipment and personal belongings. (Includes cleaning of equipment floors tables etc.)
• Maintain quality standards by following proper inspection procedures.
• Understand and adhere to current health safety and environmental policies.
• Understand and adhere to current quality and control policies.
• Perform other duties as needed.

What Were Looking For

Education /Experience Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail (critical for accuracy)

Job Requirements:

• Experience with inbound receiving or unloading trucks is a plus.
• Basic shop math required (decimals addition subtraction fractions).
• Attendance on the job is essential.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Must be able to follow instructions safety rules and regulations.

Safety

This position will adhere to the BorgWarner Environmental Health and Safety Program by following all safety rules procedures practices training and safe use of equipment; this includes use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
