What you will have an opportunity to do:

BASIC FUNCTION: The Kitchen Runner will coordinate kitchen equipment China glass and silver needs for banquets events and kitchens addition they will deliver food to assigned areas and assist chefs with the plating and banquet function as needed and help assign kitchen to put food order receive away in design area.

• Status: Full Time

• Availability: 1st & 2nd shift

• Pay Rate: $18.80 per hour.

• Location: Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center

• Deliver food to all kitchens including the cafeteria when needed.

• Assist in putting food and supplies away in the kitchen according to FIFO standards.

• Drive a golf cart and a small box truck to move food and equipment safely.

• Set up and take down stations for serving and cleaning dishes.

• Talk with the chef and banquet leaders to make sure all needs are met.

• Keep food and drink areas clean sanitized and well-organized.

• Help keep all kitchen equipment clean and in order with the steward team.

• Put kitchen tools and equipment back in the correct place after use.

• Keep kitchen areas clean by sweeping mopping taking out trash and restocking soap and paper towels.

What are we looking for

• Experience working in Stewarding Kitchens or cleaning areas preferred.

• Must be able to read and communicate in English.

• Texas Drivers License with good driving record preferred.

• Must be 21 years old due to vehicle insurance requirements.
