Kitchen Prep/Packing

This position will work primarily out of our commissary kitchen but will be on call from the kitchen.

Duties:

Help with kitchen prep and production
Packing truck with delivery items
Checking and confirming delivery items
Deliveries in and around Chicago
Basic food prep
Portioning a variety of food items
Preparing meals for service at schools

Job Details

Hours: 6am - 2pm (part-time to full-time)
Days: Monday Friday
Location: Goose Island
Start: Immediately

Requirements

SafeServ certification is a bonus
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Applicant must be reliable punctual presentable as well as attention to detail and timeliness.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation requirements preferable
Fluent in English (bi-lingual in Spanish a plus)
Strong communication skills
