Kitchen ExpoFood Runner
Job Summary
Food Runners play a crucial role in restaurants. They act as a liaison between the kitchen staff front-of-the-house team and the restaurants guest. Their primary duty is to deliver food to guests and they work alongside servers and bartenders to ensure customer satisfaction.
Must work between back-of the house and front of the house staff. Responsible for organizing finished dishes ensuring order accuracy and presentation quality and delivering food swiftly and accurately to guests. Runners/expos take the pressure off of servers allowing waitstaff to spend more time taking orders and entertaining guests. Runners/expos manage the ticket kitchen counter coordinate cooking times so all meals for a table are served together check plate presentation and accuracy and relay special requests between the front and back of house.
Must work day and evening shifts weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:
- High School graduate/GED or equivalent vocational training
- Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail speed and accuracy
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public.
- Ability to lift 60 lbs and stand for long periods of time
