Kindergarten Aide Paraeducator
(multiple openings)

10-month position

Hourly Rate: $19.37 pending union negotiations

Must have an academic degree or have earned at least 60 college credits or have passed the ParaPro assessment

Example of Essentials Duties:

• Provide supplemental instruction for Kindergarten students under the direction of the classroom teacher
• Assists the teacher in establishing and maintaining a safe nurturing and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
• Assists the teacher with classroom duties and setup and preparing and maintain classroom materials and supplies
• Provide specific modifications and/or accommodations for assigned student(s). This can include repeating directions performing task analysis reading assignments or tests document instructions and organize homework assignments.
