Job Summary
Ridgeview Elementary is seeking a long-term substitue teacher for a Kindergarten classroom to cover a temporary absence while the teacher is out on maternity leave. This position will involve a classroom of our youngest learners. This position will run from October through the end of December 2026.
Position Responsibilities:
Teach the Kindergarten Curriculum use pacing guides and instructional resources.
Deliver engaging standards-aligned lessons that support a range of learners.
Utilize technology effectively including PowerSchool and Google Classroom to manage assignments assessments and communication.
Collaborate with the Kindergarten Team.
Maintain a positive structured classroom environment that supports student learning and accountability.
Carry out all standard teacher responsibilities including attendance grading supervision and communication with students and families as needed.
Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
