Queen of Apostles Catholic School is seeking a caring dependable and faith-filled Instructional Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support classroom teachers in creating a positive and engaging learning environment where students can grow academically spiritually and socially. The Instructional Assistant plays a vital role in helping students achieve success while contributing to the mission and culture of our Catholic school community.

• Assist the classroom teacher in implementing daily lessons and instructional activities.

• Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce concepts and support academic growth.

• Help prepare instructional materials classroom resources and learning centers.

• Support differentiated instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.

• Assist in maintaining a safe orderly and welcoming classroom environment.

• Monitor students during classroom activities transitions lunch recess and other assigned duties.

• Encourage positive behavior and model respect responsibility and Christian values.

• Support the integration of Catholic teachings and values throughout the school day.

• Participate in prayer Mass liturgical celebrations and other faith-based activities.

• Serve as a positive Christian role model for students.

• Work closely with teachers administrators and support staff to promote student success.

• Communicate effectively regarding student progress classroom needs and school initiatives.

• Assist with school events programs and activities as needed.

• Assist with classroom organization record keeping copying and preparation of materials.

• Help maintain a clean organized and engaging learning environment.

• Support teachers with technology and classroom management tasks as appropriate.

• Participate in professional development opportunities and faculty meetings as required.

• Demonstrate a willingness to learn new instructional strategies and best practices in education.

• Associates degree or higher preferred; high school diploma required.

• Experience working with children in an educational childcare or youth-serving setting preferred.

• Strong commitment to Catholic education and the mission of Queen of Apostles Catholic School.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Patience flexibility and a genuine love for working with children.

• Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
