TheKids Ministeroversees the Kids ministry birth through 5thgrade. They will lead a team of dream teamers that execute the weekend experience and manage the implementation of systems that create a safe fun and life-changing ministry for kids parents and dream teamers. They will work with a campus team to achieve the goals ofBattleCreekChurch whilealsobeingresponsible forthe specific goals related to theBattleCreekKids ministry.

Your Day-to-Day

Every day looks different butheresa snapshot of whatyoullbe up to:

• Recruit develop and empower dreamteamersso they areoperatingin their strengths andaccomplishingthe mission ofBattleCreekKids.

• Providea high levelof execution that ensures success of theBattleCreekKids weekend experience and ministry specific operations/events.

• Build strong relationships andministerto parents kids and dream teamers.

• Create a partnership with parents to bridge what happens on the weekends with what happens at home.

• Create a fun presenceofBattleCreekKids in the local community.

• Define and effectively manage the annualministry-specific budget.

• Perform other church duties as assignedby the Campus Pastorto help all people of all ages all the time advance in their journey with Christ

WhatWereLooking For

The must-haves for this role:

• Education & Experience:We are looking for someone withBachelors Degree(but it is notrequired) and1 yearof experience inministry and working withkidsfrom birth to 5thgrade. Havingministryexperience in a multi-site environment is an added plus!

• Skills & Strengths:We are looking for someone who:

TheEssentials

Depending on the role you might find yourself in an office on stage out in the community or working behind the scenes. Evening and weekend hours may berequireditsall part of ministry life!

This role is primarily office-based but may involve some physical activity including standing lifting (up to 20 pounds) kneeling setting up equipment orprepping foreventssometimes even late at night.Dontworry;wellensure you know what to expect!
