Oakes Auto Group is seeking an experienced Certified Master Technician to join our growing service team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled technician who excels at advanced diagnostics takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys contributing to a high-performing shop environment. The Certified Master Technician serves as a technical resource within the service department while helping maintain manufacturer standards shop productivity and customer satisfaction. What Youll Do
  • Perform advanced diagnostics maintenance and repairs using manufacturer-approved tools equipment and procedures

  • Diagnose and repair complex electrical engine transmission drivability steering suspension brake HVAC and related vehicle systems

  • Complete customer-pay warranty recall and maintenance repairs while maintaining manufacturer and dealership quality standards

  • Accurately document repair procedures diagnostic findings and recommendations while communicating effectively with Service Advisors and leadership

  • Support technician development by assisting with advanced diagnostics sharing technical knowledge and contributing to an efficient shop environment

Requirements
  • Valid drivers license with a clean or acceptable driving record

  • Ability to pass a standard background check

  • Strong reliability and consistent attendance

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced customer-focused environment

  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems

  • Current manufacturer Master Technician Certification

  • ASE Certifications preferred

  • Advanced diagnostic electrical and engine repair experience preferred
