Job Summary
Fast-paced kennel connected to a well-established companion animal practice in West Chester Ohio is looking for a part time kennel technician. Candidates must be able to:
- Work independently
- Have strong communication skills
- Be proficient with computers
- Be able to walk large and small dogs
- Have their own reliable transportation
- Be able to work efficiently
Duties include:
- Leash walking small and large dogs
- Feeding and medicating both dogs and cats
- Bathing dogs
- Cleaning and sanitizing the kennel and runs
- Interacting with our clientele during drop off and pick up procedures
- Using our computer system to make reservations and check clients in and out.
Previous experience as a kennel technician is preferred. Knowledge of basic pet care and husbandry is a must. This position requires that candidates be available for work on holidays and weekends as well as day and evening hours during the week.
Job Types: Part-time
Salary: $14.00-15.00 per hour
