Kennel Techcician

Gainesville Veterinary Hospital is searching for a self-motivated individual to join our team as our next kennel technician. Shifts will include alternating holidays and weekends (including Sundays). Requirement - Must be comfortable and confident handling BOTH cats and dogs. Wage will be based on experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Putting patient care as your highest priority

• Providing care for pets such as potty walks litter box cleaning feeding and clean water

• Unboxing clinic deliveries

• Maintaining a clean and sterile work environment

• Laundry garbage kennel cleaning

• Assisting with animal restraint

• Other miscellaneous tasks

Qualifications and Skills:

• Being able to work as a team member and independently

• Handle stressful situations with composure

• Must be able to demonstrate a can-do attitude

• Confident customer service presence with our clients

• Reliable transportation

• Excellent work attendance

Physical Abilities:

• Push/Pull/Lift of up to 40 pounds is a regular part of the job duties (without assistance)

• Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time
