Salary:

• As per the BMEA negotiated agreement

Primary Purpose:

• Provide targeted reading and/or mathematics intervention for students ingrades Kï½5 at Mespo Elementary School who require supplemental academic support through the districts Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS).
• Collaborate with staff and families to improve student achievement through evidence-based instruction and ongoing progress monitoring.
  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide small-group and individual reading and/or mathematics intervention.
• Deliver district-approved intervention programs using evidence-based instructional practices.
• Progress monitor students and use assessment data to adjust instruction.
• Maintain accurate intervention records and MTSS documentation.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to align intervention with core instruction.
• Participate in MTSS grade-level and intervention team meetings.
• Communicate student progress with parents teachers and administrators.
• Assist in identifying students requiring Tier II and Tier III interventions.
• Support implementation of district literacy and mathematics initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with district policies and Ohio Department of Education and Workforce requirements.
• Participate in professional development and continuous improvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the building principal.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio Teaching License. (K-5)
• Knowledge of Ohio Learning Standards and evidence-based instructional practices.
• Experience with elementary literacy and/or mathematics intervention preferred.
• Knowledge of MTSS and student progress monitoring.
• Strong collaboration communication and organizational skills.
