The Opportunity:

Washington State University Health Sciences Department is now accepting applications for a Health Sciences K-12 Coordinator. As the K-12 Coordinator you will be responsible for the outreach recruitment development and management of pre-health health pathways and the visitation programs of K-12 this role you will plan develop implement and evaluate new and existing Native American Health Pathway programs to include Na-ha-shnee STEAM Summer Institute and bring attention to the various Health Sciences programs. You will also work with tribal communities their K-12 education systems and leaders families tribal community colleges and other higher education institution partners to presentWSUHealth Sciences andWSUNative American Health Sciences (NAHS)programming to future students.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

• Recruitment Outreach and Visitation Coordination: 45%

• Program Planning & Implementation: 30%

• Student/Participant Retention and Advising: 20%

• Other Duties as Assigned: 5%

Additional Information:

This is a full-time (100% FTE) temporary position. The position is overtime eligible.

This is a fixed-term grant funded position expected to end on July 15 2028.

Renewal is dependent on the need for extension and/or if additional funding is secured to extend employment.

This is an on-site/in-person role located on WSU campus in Pullman WA.

Monthly Salary:$3750.85 - $5397.56 Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position.
