JV2 Boys Basketball Head Coach

Qualifications:

• Basketball teaching/coaching experience
• Basketball knowledge and playing experience
• Ability to communicate and work well with high school students
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• NFHS certified
• Must complete a fingerprint-based Criminal History Background Check

Duties:

• Teach and coach techniques and skills needed for the Boys Basketball program
• Teach character development and leadership skills
• Ensure athlete safety including prevention of bullying harassment and hazing
• Coordinate a practice schedule for the entire season
• Assist head Varsity Coach in making decisions planning events and implementing plans
• Coordinate upkeep for gym practice and game facilities
• Attend all Boys Basketball practices and competitions
• Organize appropriate awards for Sports Awards Night
• Complete necessary paperwork for inventory budgeting records etc.
• Be a positive role model

Salary:

• Based on experience FTE and placement on the Licensed Co-Curricular salary schedule.
