Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures identification checks and entry authorization protocols at a government location.
• Monitor entrances exits and restricted areas to help control access document arrivals and departures and report unusual activity or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while supporting security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter noting conditions checking access points and communicating observations through required reports.
• Assist with screening processes visitor management and/or package inspections as directed by site policies to help support order and compliance within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
