Job Summary
Job Title: Junior Tester (Service Now) -5 years of exp
Location: Austin TX (Hybrid )
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
- Support Information Technology Services (ITS) initiatives by ensuring quality reliability compliance and functionality of enterprise applications and ServiceNow solutions
- Perform manual testing activities within ServiceNow environments following enterprise QA standards and Texas State SDLC methodologies
- Create maintain and execute detailed test cases test scenarios and test scripts within a structured QA framework
- Validate system functionality integrations workflows and business requirements across enterprise applications
- Ensure adherence to ITS QA methodologies governance standards security requirements and release management processes
- Collaborate with business analysts developers product owners and stakeholders throughout Agile/Scrum SDLC cycles
- Participate in sprint planning backlog refinement defect triage testing reviews and release readiness activities
- Perform defect tracking defect reporting and Agile work management using Jira
- Conduct API and integration testing to validate enterprise system interoperability and data accuracy
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination and stakeholder validation activities in regulated or government environments
- Analyze testing results document findings and communicate risks defects and remediation recommendations clearly to project teams
- Work closely with QA and development teams to ensure application stability compliance and successful deployments
- Support enterprise testing efforts for ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) modules
- Perform testing across additional ServiceNow modules including ITSM CMDB and HRSD
- Ensure compliance with Texas DIR standards audit requirements and release readiness checkpoints
- Provide analytical support documentation reporting and quality validation throughout the project lifecycle
- Follow enterprise QA standards SDLC governance and established testing best practices
- Support Texas State agency systems
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and enterprise QA processes
- Excellent analytical communication documentation and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in mid-level QA/testing and systems analysis environments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality testing outcomes in fast-paced enterprise environments
