Responsibilities
Support Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) in Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) of Fly-By-Wire (FBW) Ship Control Systems (SCS) for U.S. Navy submarines.
Review engineering specifications documents drawings and plans
Review system software and hardware test procedures.
Witness Formal Qualification and System Acceptance Testing at land-based test facilities.
Validate requirements.
Perform Audits of computer software units.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in an Engineering Mathematics Physical Sciences or Computer Science field.
Have an active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
Proven experience working withUS Navy submarine.
At least 0 - 2 years of experience in:
US Navy submarine Ship Control Systems.

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
