ABOUT THE TEAM & ROLE

The U.S. Renewable Natural Gas desk trades a high value commodity market that interacts closely with regulated biofuels markets and rapidly growing demand for decarbonization products.This role offers an opportunity toparticipateincommodity trading and renewables complex systems for arbitrage and atrack to career paths in Trading Operations Analytics and more within the energy commodities space.Thepositionreportsdirectly to the Senior Traderandas a Junior Portfolio Manageryoulloverseeoptimizingthe portfolio making sure that all products in the book are matched to the right customer in the mostoptimalway.Youllcollaborate with Operations to then make sure that deliveries occur flawlessly and work closely with our traders toidentifyany opportunities to extractadditionalvalue from our book.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Matchportfoliotosuitablebuyersallocateincomingvolumesappropriately
• Ensure on-time andaccurateexecution of booked tradesincollaboration withSenior Trader Sales Tradersoperationsand complianceoffice
• Identifyoptimizationopportunitiesandcommunicatepotentialactions
• Monitorkeyportfolioindicatorslikepositionscapitalcosts anddeliveryopportunities
• Trackoverallportfolioperformancevalidateexposures
• Developandmaintaintoolsforportfoliooptimizationidentifynew businessopportunities

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• 0-4years of relevant work experience
• Undergraduate degree in economics finance math business or other related major
• Proficiencyin Excel (and/orVBA) and Python
• Stronganalyticalskillsandproactiveattitude
• Familiaritywithessentialtradingconceptsandkeeninterestinfinancialand (environmental) commoditiesmarkets
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to multi-task

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

STX intends on offering the selected candidate a competitive base salary withing the range of $67.000 USD $120.000 based on several objective factors such as relevant experience location holistic skillset and applicable licenses and certifications. The candidate may also be eligible for discretionary compensation asdeterminedannually within thecompanyfiscal year.
