Junior IT Networker

Were looking for a motivated Junior IT Networking Professional to join our team and support day-to-day technology this hands-on role youll be responsible for setting up computers managing basic network configurations supporting Microsoft-based systems and resolving a range of hardware software and connectivity issues.

Junior IT Networker responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Set up configure and maintain desktop and laptop computers for new and existing users
• Troubleshoot internet connectivity and application-related issues
• Provide first-level support for Windows-based systems and Microsoft applications
• Maintain and update IT documentation as needed
• Assist in the maintenance of network infrastructure including routers switches and access points
• Install and update software apply patches and perform routine system maintenance
• Support users via in-person phone or remote assistance

Qualifications :

Basic Minimum Education Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science degree preferred
• Optional: CompTIA A or Network certification is a plus

Basic Minimum Work Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT support or networking role (or equivalent education)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Office 365
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts (IP addressing DNS DHCP etc.)
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware software and connectivity issues
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Additional Information :

Position is full-time working Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm additional hours as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Norwood MA are encouraged to apply.
