Compunetix is seeking a Junior Hardware Engineer to work with a team of engineers to design high-speed digital hardware for our telecommunications systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design high-speed digital hardware for telecommunication systems
- Design and debug microprocessor-based PCBs using general purpose CPUs and DSPs
- FPGA design debug and simulation
- Write test code for production tests as well as engineering checkout.
Requirements:
- BSEE MSEE preferred
- 0-5 years experience focusing on high speed digital and/or microprocessor design.
- Familiarity with FPGAs VHDL and simulation
- Familiarity with C
- Experience with schematic design and layout tools such as SolidWorks OrCAD Hyperlinks and Allegro
- Documentation experience desired
