Summary
We are looking for a motivated Junior GIS Analyst whos ready to jump into real project work and grow within a multidisciplinary engineering environment. If you enjoy solving spatial problems building clean datasets and supporting engineers with maps and analysis that actually get used this role is for you. This position will be in-office in our Rochester NY office.
What Youll Do
Support civil engineering teams with GIS mapping data management and spatial analysis
Create high-quality maps figures and exhibits for reports proposals and field teams
Maintain and update geodatabases feature classes and metadata
Perform spatial queries geoprocessing tasks and basic modeling
Assist with field data collection and integration (GPS mobile apps survey data)
Help standardize workflows templates and data QA/QC processes
Collaborate with project managers to understand requirements and deliver accurate GIS products on schedule
