Junior Environmental Professional

At Hart & Hickman were looking for a Junior Environmental Professional whos ready to take their early career to the next level. What Youll Do

• Support and manage environmental assessment and remediation projects locally and nationally both in the field and in the office
• Assist with site investigations soil and groundwater sampling and technical reporting
• Work alongside project managers and senior consultants on Phase I/II ESAs vapor intrusion assessments and NC Brownfields projects
• Learn to navigate state and federal environmental regulatory programs in North and South Carolina
• Participate in field activities including site inspections sampling events and remediation oversight - expect to spend meaningful time outdoors and on-site
• Collaborate with and learn from a team of experienced environmental professionals

What Were Looking For

• Bachelors degree in Geology Environmental Science Environmental Engineering or a related field
• 24 years of environmental consulting experience with demonstrated field and technical experience
• Familiarity with environmental site assessment and sampling protocols. Experience with regulatory programs in the Carolinas is a plus
• Strong communication organization and problem-solving skills
• Someone whos curious takes initiative and wants to grow into a well-rounded consultant and leadership role over time
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team including in outdoor and field conditions
