Junior Employment Investigations Attorney

We are seeking junior and mid-level Employment Investigations Attorneys to join Axiom. You will provide legal advice and support to our clients across a variety of industries ensuring compliance mitigating risk and fostering respectful workplace cultures. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with leading clients on sensitive workplace matters conducting investigations advising on employee relations issues and helping organizations navigate complex employment law challenges. This is an existing vacancy.

• Conducting and managing workplace investigations involving employee relations concerns allegations of misconduct fraud workplace violence harassment discrimination retaliation and other employment-related matters.
• Independently leading investigations from intake through resolution including witness interviews evidence review fact-finding and report preparation.
• Providing legal guidance on employment law workplace compliance and employee relations matters.
• Collaborating with client stakeholders Human Resources teams compliance professionals and business leaders to address workplace concerns and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Drafting investigation plans witness interview summaries investigation reports findings and other related documentation.
• Advising clients on compliance with applicable employment laws workplace policies and HIPAA requirements where relevant.
• Managing sensitive and confidential legal issues for clients across multiple industries.
• Staying ahead of employment law developments workplace investigation best practices and regulatory changes to provide proactive counsel.

• 25 years of experience in employment law workplace investigations employee relations or a related practice area.
• Strong knowledge of federal state and local employment laws and workplace investigation practices.
• Experience conducting or supporting workplace investigations including employee relations fraud and workplace violence matters.
• Proven ability to independently manage investigations and advise clients on employment-related risks and compliance issues.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and privacy-related compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication interviewing legal writing technology and problem-solving skills.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

• Experience conducting investigations in healthcare life sciences or other highly regulated industries.
• Demonstrated experience preparing investigation reports and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
• Experience partnering with Human Resources compliance ethics or employee relations teams.
• Professional certifications related to workplace investigations compliance or employee relations are a plus.

The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $00 per year and for non-attorney roles is $ per year.Compensation decisions are based on various factors including but not limited to experience skills certifications location and business needs.
