Job Summary
The Junior Doctrine Analyst reports to and receives work direction derivatives from the JEDD Project Manager the Doctrine Analyst and the Senior Doctrine Analyst.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop revise and format doctrinal publications and JEDD training pamphlets using MS Office Adobe Professional and SharePoint for document management.
Review edit and ensure accuracy consistency and proper formatting for all JEDD doctrine and training materials.
Produce compile and prepare draft and final documents supporting the JEDD exercise lifecycle including post-event critiques and after-action reviews.
Draft review and provide feedback on Joint and other Service doctrinal documents concepts and missions.
Review classified materials and recommend appropriate classification for use in exercises simulations reports and publications.
Prepare and deliver post-event critiques after-action reviews evaluations and historical documentation for JEDD requirements.
Maintain ready-to-print master files for all JEDD published training pamphlets.
Draft and edit complex strategic and doctrinal content in accordance with Joint standards and Federal Printing Regulations.
Follow the Quarterly Work Plan and JEDD Doctrine/Pamphlet SOPs and Writers Guide to manage and execute assignments.
EDUCATION
Associates degree with a minimum of 3 years experience is preferred.
High School degree with at least 5 years operational military experience is also acceptable.
EXPERIENCE
Demonstrated success in five (5) or more of the following areas:
1 year experience equivalent to the Junior Doctrine Analyst category; and Subject Matter Expertise in one of the functional areas such as intelligence logistics command and control cyberspace space and planning.
Experience with fundamental principles which describe and guide proper use of joint doctrine.
Experience with joint principles relating to the assessment and development of joint and multinational doctrine.
Experience with the Joint Staff Structure mission programs and organizational relationships.
Experience with Joint Staff relationships with CCMDs Services and DoD Agencies.
Demonstrated strong written verbal and interpersonal communication skill and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Experience with Joint and Service Lessons Learned Systems to conduct research and develop reports.
Experience with Universal Joint Tasks process and its relationship with Joint Doctrine.
Strong understanding of modern English grammar usage.

Strong communication and presentation skills. Able to read write and communicate effectively in to design and write clear communications and present training programs.
Excellent organizational planning problem-solving prioritization and interpersonal skills.
Excellent computer skills in the entire suite of MS Office and able to quickly learn additional systems.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Required to sit for extended periods of time and maintain focus
Daily travel in local area during workday (including use of personal vehicle)
Be able to work an unstable schedule to include holidays and weekends.
SPECIAL POSITION NOTATIONS
CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required for up to three weeks at a time (or longer)
Qualification as an authorized company driver is required. All authorized company drivers must have a valid drivers license current automobile insurance and a driving record that is acceptable to the companys auto insurance provider.
SECURITY CLEARANCE
A Secret security position is required for this position.
The ability to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance is required for this position.
