- Monitor client inventory levels historical consumption and safety stock requirements to support Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) accounts.
- Analyze inventory data and usage patterns to develop data-driven replenishment recommendations for Customer Service Representatives (CSRs).
- Track inventory thresholds and proactively identify potential stockouts overstock conditions and supply risks before they affect customer operations.
- Audit inventory records stock sheets progress reports and system data to maintain accurate and reliable inventory information.
- Serve as an internal resource for CSRs regarding inventory availability order status replenishment needs and fulfillment concerns.
- Prepare and process shop work orders and replenishment schedules while coordinating with production planning to meet product specifications and required timelines.
- Verify pricing line-item details order accuracy and invoice information prior to customer billing.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies shipping variances returns and fulfillment issues by identifying root causes and recommending appropriate resolutions.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports covering inventory levels order fill rates VMI performance and operational trends for customer service management.
- Translate complex inventory and operational data into clear actionable insights that help CSRs make informed decisions and proactively manage accounts.
- Collaborate with Customer Service Operations Planning and Supply Chain teams to improve internal workflows and ensure efficient order fulfillment.
- Participate in Lean/ELS continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory tracking process efficiency and communication between Customer Service and Supply Chain.
Technical Skills
