Location

Smithtown NY in-office and highly collaborative. Our culture is built around working together exchanging ideas and sharpening strategy in real time. Flexibility is provided when court appearances depositions or litigation events require it.

Job Description

• Research and analyze complex legal issues in commercial and business-related disputes
• Draft substantive motions briefs and memoranda from the ground up
• Develop creative legal strategies tailored to unique fact patterns
• Work closely with senior attorneys on case strategy planning and execution
• Participate in hearings conferences and other litigation proceedings as experience grows
• Balance intellectual depth with practical judgment and business awareness
• Take ownership of assignments and drive matters forward to completion

Qualifications

• Active New York Bar license
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Intellectual curiosity and a desire to deeply understand legal issues
• Ability to think critically challenge assumptions and work in gray areas
• Motivation to produce excellent work product and meet deliverables
• Collaborative mindset and comfort engaging in strategic debate
