Job Description
Our client is adding a Junior Accountant to their growing company to support accounting functions in the St. Louis area. This is a contract-to-possible-direct hire opportunity for our client. If you or one of your colleagues is interested in this opportunity please click Apply Now.
As a Junior Accountant you will support the Project Financial Analysts by learning the processes reporting controls and accounting functions. You will bring your experience in AR and AP processing customer invoicing reconciliation and other functions while you learn more in depth about the Finance and Accounting departments and their strategies and solutions.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred; experience considered
- 1-3 years of Accounting or Finance experience
- GAAP understanding required
- Experience with financial reporting analysis AR/AP Sales Tax VAT month-end and other accounting and finance functions
- Not remote
