Job Summary


Were seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support industrial construction and mechanical contracting projects. This role will assist with project coordination documentation scheduling subcontractor communication field support and daily project tracking. The ideal candidate will be early in their construction career highly organized and comfortable working on-site in a fast-paced construction environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers and field leadership with daily project coordination scheduling documentation and communication across active construction projects.
  • Track and organize RFIs submittals meeting minutes change documentation project drawings schedules and jobsite progress updates.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors vendors internal teams and field personnel to help keep project activities moving on schedule.
  • Support project budget tracking change order documentation material coordination and issue follow-up throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor jobsite activity safety expectations quality requirements and project deliverables while providing regular updates to project leadership.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering Building Science Industrial Technology or a related field preferred.
  • Internship co-op or entry-level construction project experience preferred.
  • Strong interest in industrial construction mechanical contracting fabrication or heavy construction environments.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel Word Outlook and basic project documentation tools.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings schedules specifications RFIs and submittals preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with field teams subcontractors vendors and project leadership.
  • Highly organized with strong follow-up skills and the ability to manage multiple project-related tasks at once.
