Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Install hand railings and other architectural metal products on commercial job sites.
- Assist with loading unloading and staging materials and equipment.
- Perform field measurements and verify dimensions as directed.
- Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and hand tools in accordance with company safety policies.
- Maintain clean organized and safe job sites.
- Assist Lead Installers with layout assembly and installation activities.
- Communicate professionally with customers general contractors and fellow team members.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills
- Ability to safely install railings and other architectural metal products in accordance with Grecos safety and quality standards.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Ability to read and interpret basic shop drawings and installation prints.
- Proficient in the safe use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing priorities effectively.
- Ability to travel extensively and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Experience
- 12 years of experience in commercial construction or a related trade preferred.
- Experience installing railings miscellaneous metals or similar architectural products is preferred.
- Experience using hand and power tools taking measurements and reading installation drawings.
- Welding experience is beneficial
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Other
- This role utilizes a company vehicle to travel to job sites so the person in this role must have a current Florida drivers license and a clean driving record.
- This role must be able to travel Monday through Friday and some Saturdays. Hotel accommodations are paidforand Installers receive a per diem for each travel day.
